Designed to work on ALL XL, Big Twin and Buell Motorcycles that use a 5 bolt pattern on the rear sprocket. This system is 100% Bolt On and creates a positive retention on the sprocket bolts, ensuring that they cannot back out or come loose again**
If you’ve ever witnessed the damage, frustration and downtime that a loose sprocket creates, then you’ll understand why we’ve created this solution.
The 5 Bolt pattern used on modern HD motorcycles has been around for a long time, while the bikes have gotten heavier, more powerful, have better brakes, and come with much better tires – and all this creates a nice reason for those bolts to work loose. If your bike has an *HD style rear wheel, and uses hardware with a 5/8″ Hex Head, then this is for you!

“If you can slip a 1/8″ bit of steel between your sprocket bolt heads and whatever else may be close to them, then yes…” – the low profile design should fit any and all customs and OEM bikes using an HD Style Wheel.

*The only current exception is wheels that aren’t threaded, but use a flange/bolt/nut system instead – and while this will still fit, it doesn’t lock the nuts into place on the backside, we have a solution coming for that VERY soon – don’t fret!

Exactly what I needed! My sprockets bolts were always loosening before this and was always in the back of my mind while riding. This product keeps the bolts where they are and allows me to enjoy the ride! Bikes should come from the factory with this upgrade.

I bought one of the scratch and dent sprocket locks. This thing is awesome! I stripped the scratched anodizing which was a tiny little scratch on a part you wouldn’t se anyways. Then I powder coated it at home in the color I want that matches my bike. I will forever use these sprocket locks. Hands down the best ones out there. Other locks have poor designs like the ones that are separate individual plates. No, get only the best with these locks build by Hughs!

Hugh makes the best sprocket lock for the sportsters period. When searching other vendors they were only selling hughs sprocket lock. That tells you a lot about hughs product. Next time you take your wheel off, you better put a sprocket lock on!!!!!! easy peace of mind and cheaper then replacing a swing arm if a bolt backs out a sprocket lock on there!!

I put a sprocket lock on my 2016 Softail slim and it kept everything in place! I just purchased one for my 2019 Road King Special. Just have it on hand for the next tire change. My Hopped up M8 114” motor has a lot of torque so I wanted to lock my pulley down! Great product and easy to install.

There is no better sprocket/pulley bolt lock on the market! Bought 2, one black, one natural. Soon as I ditch the rear drum on my other bike, HHB gettin a phone call for a third. Have their Sporty axle adjuster blocks and the swingarm saver as well. The natural finish bolt locker didnt take much work to polish it up either… ultra smooth finish machine work. Light weight, half the weight as some comparable lockers. WAY better quality than the bend tab lockers that have the tabs break off after a single use. Fit is perfect. Looks bitchin. A machined marvel! Thanks for putting out a killer piece Hugh! 100% recommended!

I know personally I have experienced stopping for gas and checking the chop out. Looking down and seeing the sprocket bolts backing out of the rim. It is a chilling moment. I also know guys who have done considerable damage to their bikes in the same way. With Hugh’s sprocket lock system, there is no more worry. The part is easy to mount and exceptional in quality, as all HHB products are.
